Text Box: STARS NEWS
August 28, 2008

Monday was the 18th of August. We did exercise to videotape on the T.V. Later some of the group played virtual bowling on T.V. Others did some arts and crafts projects. In the afternoon we had a Good Food talk about cleanliness and grooming. Tuesday Tropical Storm Fay hit us with lots of rain but the winds were not too strong. Other areas of Florida weren’t as lucky as we were as I guess most of you had seen on the news. We decided to be safe rather than sorry and the Hab Center closed for the day. Wednesday we all came back. Lynn went to the supermarket shopping for food. We did exercises to a CD. For lunch we had Lasagna, salad and bread. For dessert we had our choice of a sugar-free fudge bar or an ice cream sandwich. We saw a movie and also had some popcorn. Thursday a group went on our weekly bowling outing. Our high bowler was Blair Coats. Her score was121. Way to go Blair!! Friday we all went to the Boynton Beach Mall to go shopping and to have lunch. We haven’t been there in a while so that was fun! This is your Star reporter signing off...
